Fr. Laurent Demets is the current Chaplain of the St. John the Baptist Latin Mass Community and the Knights of the Altar Chapter 100. He has been the Chaplain to this Community for about two years. A native of France, he was ordained on July 1, 2000 in Wigratzbad, Germany, and was assigned to the F.S.S.P. apostolate in Atlanta, Georgia prior to coming to Arkansas. |

Mr. John C. Kazyak, Sr., is the sacristan for the St. John the Baptist Latin Mass Community. As Sacristan, he is responsible for the server schedule as well as many other things relating to the orderliness and proper function of the Knights of the Altar. A former Knight of the Altar himself, he is devoted to the highest level to the Latin Mass and does everything possible to ensure proper service at Mass. He resides in Manila, Arkansas and currently works as the Accounting Manager for Nucor-Yamato Steel Company in Blytheville, Arkansas. |
